ANDREA-120M-ft: chat finetune of andrea-v5-finalnorm step_380000
Verified signatureBase is the v5 artifact -- held-out val peaked at step 380,000 (13-source avg 1.7616) and never recovered, so the run was stopped there rather than at its last step. Finetune: ftarms8 (chat pairs cross-sampled with gutenberg paragraphs), 4,000 steps, lr 3e-5 constant, batch 8, final loss 1.7812. Architecture: 768d/12h/15L/ctx1024, vocab_size 8449 (Harris v1, 8192 segments), FINAL_NORM=1. The gainless final RMSNorm before lm_head is part of the architecture and config.json carries final_norm: true -- serving without it puts the raw residual scale into the softmax.9491aa6
